This software allows you to directly connect to an IRC server, without the delay that may occur with the web page interface. You will also have more IRC options and features than with the web-based chat interface and you can use your browser for navigating to other places while chatting. Whichever method you use, messages while logged on, will appear both on the web page interface to the users logged on there and in the users logged on with an IRC client message window.
