Granola

3 cups

oatmeal

 

1/2 cup

wheat germ

 

1 cup

sunflower seeds

 

1 cup (or more)

chopped nuts (can be all peanuts, if you wish

 

1/2 cup

TVP

 

1/2 cup

raw rye (flakes, not seeds)

 

1/3 cup

flax seeds

 

1/2 cup

sesame seeds

1/2 cup

pumpkin seeds

2/3 cup

all bran

1 cup (or more)

raisins

1/3 cup

brown sugar



Oatmeal, wheat germ sunflower seeds, chopped nuts, TVP, raw rye and flax seeds should be unsalted and unroasted. Heat each of these ingredients individually in 325 degree oven for 7 to 10 minutes Watch to make sure they brown, but don't burn. Mix together in a large bowl. Add sesame seeds and pumkin seeds (also unsalted and unroasted). Sesame seeds and pumpkin seeds are not heated. Add raisins, all bran and brown sugar and toss all in large bowl.
Good on yogurt, apple sauce or just with milk
