Shrimp Creole

1 lb

shrimp

 

2 Tbsp

cooking oil

 

2 cups

chopped onion

 

1/2 cup

chopped green pepper

 

1 small can

tomato sauce

 

1 tsp.

salt

 

1/8 tsp.

pepper

 

1/2 clove

minced garlic.

 





Peel shrimp, wash and remove vein. Cook onion, green pepper, & garlic
in oil until green pepper is tender. Add tomato sauce, shrimp, seasoning
and simmer for 20 Min. or until the shrimp are tender. Serve over hot
rice. Serves 4 people.

Now when we make Gumbo we make a real big pot of it because we always
have alot of family or friends around to share it with or we freeze it so
we don"t have to cook so often!
